ASM Italy Chapter member Alessandro Reggiori recently turned 102 years old and is the oldest member of the Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia (AIM). He could also be ASM's oldest member (he joined the society in 1938). Mr. Reggiori was one of the founders of AIM in 1946 and served on the association's board for many years. He was responsible director of AIM's journal La Metallurgia Italiana for more than 25 years, and was also director of the Istituto Scientifico Breda, Milan, Italy.
