Beaumont, Texas, Chamber Official Says Attendance Up at Business Expo.

Sep. 11--The Southeast Texas Business Expo attracted between 2,800 and 3,000 people during its eight-hour run on Tuesday, a Beaumont Chamber of Commerce organizer said Wednesday.

The attendance at the event that combined businesses from Beaumont with those from Port Arthur and Mid-County was an improvement in comparison with the past several years when it was a Beaumont-only event, said Gay Chionsini, the Beaumont chamber's project manager.
