After 35 years as a successful businessman, Mark Yale Harris, has revealed his artistic passion.

Born in Buffalo, NY, Harris spent hours as a child in his own artistic world but was later encouraged to pursue a more conventional career. In 1972, Harris co-founded Red Roof Inns, which resulted in more than 300 hotels across the United States. A decade later, Harris became the founder of AmeriSuites Hotels. After selling his company in 1996, Harris has returned to the likings of his childhood and rediscovered the art of sculpture.
