LOCAL freight forwarders are experiencing an average 30 per cent drop in
business due to the Iraq war and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

A survey by the Airfreight Forwarders' Association of Malaysia (Afam)
found that local small- to medium-sized forwarders are negatively affected
by the crisis with a drop in their inbound and outbound business.
