Phoenix Opens In Latin America.

WOOD DALE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2001

Phoenix International Freight Services, Ltd. announces its latest branch opening in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This will mark the opening of the company's first office in Latin America. Exclusive agent agreements

provide services for other countries within the region. Phoenix International is the largest privately owned full-service international freight forwarder and Customs broker in North America.

"Buenos Aires has always been a strong trade lane to and from our Miami Gateway, so it makes sense to develop this market by opening a branch office and staffing it with our own employees," explains Gabriel Buedo, Phoenix's General Manager for Miami and Latin America.

The Buenos Aires office offers full international freight forwarding services, as well as in-house customs brokerage and nationwide distribution throughout Argentina. The office is managed by Fabian Casuccio, who has more than ten years industry and local market experience.
