Improved translators for simulation software
IMPROVED TRANSLATORS FOR SIMULATION SOFTWARE
Abaqus software for mechanical simulation now carries CADporter data translation software developed by Elysium Corp. The technology provides a direct, seamless exchange of CAD geometry into Abaqus/CAE, an interactive environment for creating, running, and evaluating results from Abaqus. The technology lets the simulation program import native geometry from, I-DEAS, Pro/E, and Parasolid-based systems such as Unigraphics and SolidWorks. The translation software handles 3D geometry, manages different topology representations, and heals inconsistencies that regularly occur during conversions of surface and solid CAD models. The company reports it has industry's highest translation success rate.
