The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in LaJolla held a mandatory attendance bidders conference on Thursday, 27 April regarding the construction of the 137.160 meter-long FRP composites and hybrid materials demonstration project bridge to be built across Interstate 5 in San Diego. The two-lane width with pedestrian walk and bikeways is 18.288m, and the structural depth is approximately 1.450m. AASHTO HS-20 structural loading design is required.
