The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has announced "findings of no significant impact" (FONSI) for three projects in the Dallas area, allowing TxDOT to proceed with projects on Loop 12, US 380 in Farmersville and SH 205 in Rockwall.

The Loop 12 project between West Lawther Drive

and Goforth Drive will include reconstructing the White Rock Creek (Loop 12) bridges and embankments in each direction. To avoid future flooding events, the department will raise the bridges above the 100-year flood plain elevation at a cost of $16.5 million.

A 7.4-mile, $43-million project will widen US 380 between CR 557 and CR 698 near the Hunt/Collin County line to a four-lane divided roadway.

SH 205, from SH 66 to SH 276, will be constructed as a six-lane divided roadway between SH 276 and Denison Street. A one-way, three-lane couplet will be built on SH 205 from Denison to Olive Street. The total project cost is estimated at $21.7 million.
