CTA awards rehab, expansion contracts. (Industry Today).(Chicago Transit Authority's...

The Chicago Transit Authority has awarded a $22.3-million contract to Consoer Townsend Environdyne Engineers, Inc., for construction management of two major projects: the $467-million Brown Line expansion and the $60.7million rehabilitation of Clark Junction.

The Brown Line is the CTA's third busiest rail line, serving 47,000 customers each week
