Magna International Inc.

Magna International Inc., a Canadian autoparts maker, reported a net income of C$148 million, or C$1.67 per share, on sales of C$3 billion for the quarter ended Oct. 31. This compares with a net income of C$95 million, or C$1.22 per share, on sales of $2 billion. The company attributed the increase

in sales, particularly in Europe, to the recent acquisitions of Steyr-Daimler-Puch Group, Ymos Automotive Group, Roltra Morse and Paulisch.
