Low-friction coating

Tungsten disulfide (WS^sub 2^) is a low-friction, dry-film lubricant from BryCoat Inc., Safety Harbor, Fla. With a dynamic coefficient of friction of approximately 0.03, WS^sub 2^ reduces friction at loads to 350,000 psi. WS^sub 2^ is suitable for applications where traditional dry film lubricants

do not work. The lubricant has an operating temperature range of -450 to 1,200deg.F at normal atmosphere and bonds to a substrate without binders. It can be used with petroleum-based and synthetic oils, greases, silicone lubricants, and hydraulic fluids.
