New Duffy Electric Boat Dealership Opens in Texas.
Electric boat enthusiast Norman Bering recently opened a new Duffy Electric Boat dealership in Texas, offering five unique styles of the environmentally friendly watercraft.
"As a Duffy Boat owner for the past several years, I've been extremely impressed with the manufacturer's craftsmanship in addition to the fact that the boats are electric, which is great for the environment, and easy on the pocketbook," said Bering, the CEO of Duffy Electric Boats of Texas.
According to Bering, the five electric boat models available at the new dealership include the Duffy 16' Classic, Duffy 16' Catamaran and Duffy 18' Balboa, all of which are powered by a 48-volt "Power Plus" advanced DC motor and Trojan deep cycle marine batteries and offer up to eight hours of running time per charge, and the Duffy 21' Cruiser and Classic, both of which employ the same technology as the other boats but offer up to 10 hours of running time per charge.
