Cummins Inc. has named John D. Watkins Jr. to a vice president position. Watkins was formerly managing director for Cummins East Asia after joining the company in July 2003. Watkins is based in Beijing, China, where he oversees what Cummins calls one of its fastest-growing geographical markets
