Port of Sacramento Awards Terminal Operation to SSA Marine.

SEATTLE -- SSA Marine was chosen by the Port of Sacramento to operate the port terminal in West Sacramento.

After a competitive bidding process, the Sacramento-Yolo Port District Commission approved SSA Marine to replace Marine Terminals Corp. as the new operator until the agreement expires

SSA Marine presented the port with an attractive, alternative revenue-sharing proposal which, according to a staff report, presents the best chance for the Port to achieve the greatest amount of revenue in the near term.
