Apr. 17--Ice is nice, but no money ain't funny.
Three days of high winds jammed ice into the western corner of Lake Superior for a second time this month, snarling traffic in and out of the Duluth-Superior Harbor.
And in the shipping industry, time is money.
As of Thursday, about 52 commercial vessels -- lakers and salties -- had arrived in the harbor. But as of the same date a year ago, about 76 had arrived.
Mother Nature is slowing up the traffic "and that s
