Apr. 26--TAMPA, Fla.--Nearly two years ago, anthrax sent by mail put a collective chill into postal workers and customers across the nation. Now, newly developed technology can detect toxins in the mail.
In June, U.S. Postal Service letter distribution centers in Tampa and St. Petersburg will be two of 14 sites around the country to test a biohazard detection system.
The cities were chosen using factors such as temperature, humidity, altitude and volume of mail, postal
