Construction underway on JFK Terminal Four

Construction has begun on the new US$1.2 billion Terminal Four at New York's JF Kennedy, the largest terminal at the airport and the first in the US to be developed and operated by a private sector consortium of airport operators and real estate developers.

JFK International Air Terminal (IAT), a joint venture between Schiphol USA, LCOR Incorporated and Lehman Brothers, leased the 165-acre site from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) earlier in 1997. The lease is for a 25-year period after construction has finished.
