QUINCY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 18, 2004

Aviation One, one of New England's largest providers of fractional aircraft lease programs for business and personal transportation, announced today the opening of its new flight operations center at

the Plymouth, MA Airport (PYM). The new location provides Aviation One's customers in Eastern New England multiple runways and a new, precision Instrument Landing System for improved access for business and personal travel in a greater range of weather conditions.

Aviation One's FlightShares Fractional Lease Program provides a unique combination of timesharing Cessna Citation Jet and Piper Seneca V twin-engine piston aircraft. An interchangeable schedule allows Seneca V owners to access Citation Jets for longer flights. Citation Jet FlightShares customers can also fly in the state-of-the-art Seneca Vs at considerable cost savings, for shorter trips.

"With the launch of service from Plymouth, we're now able to service clients with greater access and longer runways than ever before," said William McKelvey, President, Aviation One. "While our base of operations is now at Plymouth Airport, the beauty of the Aviation One FlightShares program is that we can pick our customers up at any airport that is most convenient to them."

Travel by private aircraft can provide substantial time and productivity benefits for business and personal travel to and from airports like Plymouth that are often closer and more convenient to their home, office or business destination. But unlike fractional jet ownership or charter jet services Aviation One's fractional lease program provides greater flexibility and improved service and security.

Aviation One clients know exactly the plane, the passengers and even the professional flight crew they will have for every flight. In addition to the Plymouth locations, Aviation One clients can board their aircraft at an airport most convenient to them or their passengers including Beverly, Lawrence, Bedford, Norwood, Marshfield, Hyannis or other airports in and around eastern Massachusetts.

Aviation One's operation center is based at the Alpha One Flight facilities at Plymouth.

"Plymouth airport is an excellent facility with automated weather reporting, multiple runways and the recently upgraded LOC/DME approach landing system," said Chris Hyldburg, President, Alpha One Flight Services. "We see Aviation One's service as a vital component in our range of transportation solutions."

Maintenance of Aviation One's fleet is handled by Northeast Airmotive at the Portland, Maine airport, one of the premiere Cessna certified maintenance facilities in the country.

Aviation One was established in 1997 by William G. McKelvey with a mission to make private air travel more affordable to both companies and individuals. With headquarters at the Plymouth Airport, Aviation-One offers corporate and individual transportation solutions, and is among the leaders in the fractional aircraft lease market in New England.
