FAA should do more to improve safety, lawmakers say. Lawmakers at a House subcommittee hearing on Thursday said the Federal Aviation Administration has not done enough to address key safety issues. Some said the FAA should more tightly regulate air traffic controllers, citing the Comair runway crash last month in Kentucky.
