Spirit Airlines on July 24 announced daily nonstop service between its Ft Lauderdale, Fla. base and Grand Bahama Island starting Dec. 13, 2007. Service will be via the Grand Bahama Intl Airport in Freeport. Grand Bahama is Spirit's 21st destination in the Bahamas, Caribbean and Latin America
