Panama-based Copa Airlines, part of Copa Holdings SA (NYSE:CPA), has taken delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft is equipped with winglets, which improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions
This is the airline's seventh 800-series aircraft and its fleet now consists of 27 Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft and 13 Embraer jets.
Copa Airlines' Boeing 737-800s seat 160 passengers, with 16 in Business Class and 144 in the main cabin.
The purchase price of the new aircraft was not revealed.
