Montgomery, Ala., Airport Seeks Increase in Service from Three Major Carriers.

Aug. 10--The Capital City may be better positioned now than it ever has been to get more attention -- and service -- from the three airlines that serve Montgomery Regional Airport: Delta, US Airways and Northwest, city officials said.

South Korea's Hyundai Motor Co. is building a $1 billion auto-manufacturing plant in south Montgomery, which is expected to bring thousands of new jobs and more business traffic to the area.
