NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2000

JetBlue Airways today announced the "Yeah, You Read Correctly" sale on fares between all its East Coast destinations, with tickets from New York City to upstate New York and Vermont starting from $29 each

way, and from New York City to Florida from as low as $49 each way. Sale fares for flights between upstate New York/Vermont and Florida start at just $75 each way.

To take advantage of this sale, passengers must purchase travel by August 17, good for use between September 6 and November 15, 2000. Sale fares are not valid on Sundays. Seats are limited. Fares do not include a $2.50 Federal Segment tax per segment or up to $6.00 Airport Passenger Facility Charge.

JetBlue currently operates eleven daily nonstop flights between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Florida: four each to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, and three to Tampa. Daily service to West Palm Beach will begin on October 18.

As for JetBlue's Northeast services, the airline operates five daily nonstop flights between JFK and Buffalo, NY, and twice-daily flights between JFK and Rochester, NY, building to four daily on August 22, and to five daily on October 18. JetBlue begins twice-daily service to Burlington, VT, on September 7.

JetBlue operates a fleet of seven brand new Airbus A320 aircraft, each equipped with LiveTV, offering 24 channels of DirecTV programming, at every roomy all-leather seat. LiveTV is offered free of charge. The airline will serve 12 cities with 10 new, environmentally-friendly aircraft by the end of the year.
