Semicon West 2000 marks the 30th year for the premier international trade show and conference focused on semiconductor equipment, materials, suppliers, and services. The exposition runs July 12 to 14 in San Jose and San Francisco. The Wafer Processing portion takes place July 10 to 12 at Moscone Center

in San Francisco, and the second portion, Test, Assembly, and Packaging, is slated for July 12 to 14 at the San Jose Convention Center.

Last year, the show hosted more than 67,000 visitors from 47 countries and 1,950 exhibiting companies from 21 countries. This year, in addition to displaying products at the show, over 100 exhibitors are scheduled to offer virtual booths so visitors can view product information, download literature, access audio and video presentations, and arrange on-site meetings. Also new to Semicon West 2000 are e-mail and product-locator stations that will be available at both locations.
