SkyFile, Radio Holland's updated e-mail program. (product news).

Date: Sunday, June 1 2003

Radio Holland has introduced a new updated version of its maritime e-mail program SkyFile. Version 4.O offers additional functions and features specially developed by France Telecom Mobile Satellite Communications, such as separate billing and a multi-user component.

The new SkyFile

version also offers improved compression rates up to 80%. This will result in the cost-effective, user-friendly and reliable transfer of e-mails, faxes and short messages (SMS).

SkyFile is available free of charge via Radio Holland Connect and can be used for sending messages via Inmarsat A, B, GAN, M, Mini-M (phone), Fleet and Iridium.

Features of SkyFile include:

* Split-billing and separate listing of all traffic: e-mails, SMS and faxes

* Multi-user component for a group of users with individual protected account names

* Message folder (Archive) making storage, filing and overview of e-mails easier

* Full compatibility with already installed SkyFile versions

* Full control of e-mail traffic through black/white lists and fixed address book.

In case of unwanted e-mails (SPAMs) or misuse from unauthorized third parties, you can now restrict the access to the SkyFile account by defining and forwarding a "black/white" list of "allowed/blocked" e-mail addresses to your SkyFile Server.
