Austal USA, Mobile, Ala., recently appointed Greg Metcalf CEO. Prior to relocating to Mobile with his family, Metcalf worked for Austal Limited in Henderson, Western Australia for 5 years as Austal Group financial controller and then vice president of business development.

National

Steel and Shipbuilding Co., San Diego, recently promoted Janice Grace to the new position of vice president, Pre-Production Operations. Grace will assume responsibility for Engineering in addition to her current responsibilities in Materials, Master Planning/Facilities, and Information Systems.

Stephen Stroebel was also recently promoted to director of Materials.

Stephen Streifer, vice president of Engineering, recently retired.

Saying he had "accomplished his mission," Roland "Rollie" H. Webb has resigned as president and COO of Todd Pacific Shipyards Corp. Webb oversaw the turnaround of Todd, which, when he came onboard 10 years ago, had just emerged from bankruptcy.

Dennis D. Buffo was recently appointed vice president of International Ship Repair & Marine Services, Inc., Tampa, Fla. Buffo has over 31 years' marine industry experience, and joins SR from Coastal Towing in Houston.
