Ocean Reef Club

Jenny Allen has joined the conference sales team at this Key Largo, Fla., resort as a sales manager, focusing on the Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii. She previously was assistant manager with the Granville Inn in Louisville, Ky.



La Costa Resort & Spa

The Carlsbad, Calif., resort has appointed Jeffrey Homad director of sales and marketing. With two decades of hospitality experience, Homad most recently filled a similar post with Daufuskie Island Resort, in South Carolina.



Palm Springs Convention Authority

The meetings marketing arm for the Palm Springs Desert Resorts CVA has tapped Jeff Beckelman as its new chief executive, replacing the last permanent chief there, Michael Fife, who resigned in March amid questions of financial improprieties. Beckelman previously headed up the Reno, Nev., convention bureau, and also has served as VP of sales and marketing for the Venetian Resort and Sands Expo Center, in Las Vegas.



Aramark Harrison Lodging

Jeff Weggeman has been named vice president of sales for the big Philadelphia-based group services and conference center company, having previously served in a similar capacity with Dolce International. In other Aramark news, Nancy Lindemer is the new regional director of sales and marketing. Previously, she handled sales and marketing for the Babson Executive Conference Center, in Wellesley, Mass., which will remain under her aegis.



Benchmark Hospitality

Benchmark's new property under construction in New Brunswick, N.J., The Heldrich, with a hotel and conference center, is gaining Richard Cimilluca as its new director of sales and marketing. Cimilluca previously handled those chores for Benchmark's North Maple Inn property in Basking Ridge, N.J. He'll now represent both properties.



Hotel Allegro

Chicago's Hotel Allegro has named Heiko Novak as sales manager, responsible for the Midwest market. Novak previously worked for the Holiday Inn Chicago City Centre, as sales manager.

Chicago CTB

Ihsan Gursoy has joined Chicago's convention bureau as director of corporate sales for McCormick Place, Navy Pier and member hotels. He previously was sales director with the Fairmont Hotel, Washington, D.C. Also, returning to the bureau after a one-year hiatus is Julie Scuras, filling the role of director of sales for citywide association accounts.



Aruba Marriott Resort

This resort in Aruba, which also contains the Stellaris Casino, has named Dyane Vis Escalona as its new senior sales manager. Her most recent role was director of marketing services for the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association.



Mohegan Sun

The Connecticut casino resort has named Christopher Perry its new vice president of hotel sales and marketing, driving meetings sales and overseeing the resort's meetings and destination services department as well. He previously was director of marketing and sales at the Hilton New York.



Grand Traverse Resort

Located near Traverse City, Mich., Grand Traverse has named Karyann Waukazoo executive meeting manager, specializing in small meetings. She previously was the resort's catering manager. Also, Rebecca Savage is Grand Traverse's new conference services manager, previously serving as special events manager at the resort.



The Greenbrier

This historic resort in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., welcomes Teresa Herman as conference services manager. She most recently was convention services manager with The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va.



Puerto Rico Convention Bureau

Barbara Rodriguez is the new regional sales manager for the island's convention bureau. Based in New York City, Rodriguez will cover Philadelphia, Toronto and Montreal. She previously handled sales for Puerto Rico's Caribe Hilton, handling the Midwest market.
