PROMOTING BAHAMAS
The Nassau/Paradise Island Promotion Board recently released a comprehensive guide for meeting planners, and group and incentive travel will be a major focus of the upcoming Islands of the Bahamas Travel Partners Conference.
The 45-page Nassau/Paradise Island Meetings
Guide features an overview of the destination, hotel descriptions and details on support services, meeting venues and activities. The guide includes information ranging from local electronic capabilities to detailed floor plans of properties like the Atlantis Resort, the British Colonial Hilton and the Sandals Royal Bahamian.
Scheduled for May 10-13, 2001, the 5th International Islands of the Bahamas Travel Partners Conference will be held at the newly expanded Our Lucaya resort on Grand Bahama Island. Organizers say the meeting will highlight the Bahamas' $450 million in tourism-related investments over the past year. The specific needs of the group and incentive business will receive special attention at the conference.
