Wyndham to Create Event Web Pages for Planners

Dallas -- Wyndham International will create customized event pages for meetings as part of its improved online offerings, including a new relaunch of the company website, www.wyndham.com.

Planners can post general event information, images and links to a web page that Wyndham sets up for groups holding events at its properties. Wyndham also will add a link to a group-specific reservations page on which attendees can book rooms at negotiated rates.

Wyndham's upgraded website includes the following: web-only rates of up to half off retail rates on distressed inventory; special offers to members of the Wyndham ByRequest loyalty program as well as the ability for members to review receipts online; and an expanded section for women business travelers, including travel tips, survey research and the Wall Street Journal's "Work & Family" column.

To promote the revamped website, Wyndham is offering ByRequest members a 50-percent savings on rates at any Wyndham Hotel, Wyndham Resort or Summerfield Suites. The offer is also available to those who register for the ByRequest program by Nov. 10.
