INDIA: Construction contract award for planned $29,000,000 road upgrade project, ROAD BUILDER...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Malaysia-based ROAD BUILDER HOLDINGS BHD (RBH) was recently awarded a contract to upgrade 2 sections of roads in Kerala state, India. According to the terms of the award, RBH will be responsible for the refurbishment of roadways totaling some 78.4 kms.

The cost to complete the undertaking has been pegged at $29,000,000. And, project completion is scheduled for mid-October 2004.

RBH is engaged in construction, property development and toll collection among other activities.
