QATAR: Joint venture construction contract award for planned $75,000,000 to $80,000,000 bridge...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local QATAR FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION, SCIENCE & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT recently awarded a construction contract, through QATAR PETROLEUM, which is acting as its project manager, to a Qatari joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include MIDMAC CONTRACTING and CONTRACO.

According to the terms of the award, the partnership will be responsible for building the bridge arts and sciences college. This project will involve the construction of a 3-story building that will cover some 40,000 square meters.
