PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local KUDREMUKH IRON ORE CO. LTD. (KIOCL) is currently gearing-up to open

a new iron ore mine and associated beneficiation plant in India. The planned Greenfield project, to be sited at Ongole in the Prakasam district of the state of Andhra Pradesh, is intended to enable the production of 1.5 to 2 million tons per year of concentrates for export.

In so doing an initial investment of $53,000,000 is expected to be made over the first 3 years. However, this expenditure excludes the cost of building a port, of undisclosed cost,
