PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local LATAS DE ALUMINIO S/A (LATASA) currently operates 4 can manufacturing plants in Brazil. The company, for that matter, presently holds a 50% market share of the Brazilian and Latin American aluminum can markets. And, LATASA recently announced that it will build a 5th factory in order to reinforce its leading market position.

The new production facility will reportedly be designed with an initial installed production capacity of 800 million cans per year (c/y). In addition, the company is proposing to subsequently increase output
