Israel and Kazakhstan have signed a trade agreement that will benefit Israel sociologically as well as economically. The treaty between Israel and the Moslem former Soviet republic underlines Israel's acceptability in the international market and the increasing impotence of the Arab Boycott of Israel and also opens the door for future Israel-Moslem relationships. Under the treaty, Israel will provide Kazakhstan with agricultural, resource development and communications technical assistance and participate in manufacturing joint-ventures and partnerships.
