Sirim QAS eyes foreign firms, BUSINESS TIMES

SIRIM QAS Sdn Bhd, the largest certification body in Malaysia, plans
to offer its services to more foreign companies.
General manager Azim Ng Abdullah said to do this, the company will
aggressively promote its services and establish tie-ups with similar bodies
in other countries.
Sirim QAS has already certified more than 50 foreign companies
operating in countries like China, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and
Taiwan, for product and quality management certifications.
