Russia's coatings market is booming at the moment with consumption going up by an average of even to eight percent annually and most coatings segments showing strong growth.

But exporters of paints and ingredients to the country are the ones benefitting the most from the rapidly expanding demand. The outlook is looking promising in particular for those Western companies who have opted for a long-term future in Russia by setting up marketing and production operations in the country.

They have been able to exploit an inability or reluctance among Russia coatin
