The new year has started off with a bang, with growth reported in all areas of activity, according to statistics reported by the Israel Ministry of Industry and Trade. Net exports of polished diamonds from Israel in January and February rose by 14.7 percent to stand at $1.18 billion, compared to $1.03 billion during the same period in 2003.
