Israel's trade with Asia grew by 15 percent in the first nine months of this year compared with the same period of last year, according to figures from Israel's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. Israel's main export destinations were China, India and South Korea.
The leading category in Israel's exports to Asia which increased by 11 percent to $4.72 billion--were diamonds which accounted for 42 percent, or $2 billion, of the total exports.
