PT KERTAS KRAFT ACEH CONTINUES TO INCREASE ITS PAPER PRODUCTION

Despite the slowdown in the paper business as a result of a decline in paper prices, PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (PT KKA) which produces paper for cement bags in Indonesia -- plans to increase its paper production. This plan is based on the fact that the demand for PT KKA's paper by its main consumer, i.e. the cement industry, has continued to increase. The cement industry is likely to continue growing as can be seen from the increasing number of expansion as well as new projects in it.

PT KKA produces three types of paper as follows: multiwall regular (MWR), multiwall extensible
