Wichita, Kan., Visitors Bureau Pitches Locale to American Bowling Congress.

Mar. 13--WICHITA, Kan. -- Mayor Carlos Mayans and officials from the Greater Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau are in Reno, Nev., today to make a pitch to the American Bowling Congress to return to Wichita.

Wichita -- along with Syracuse, N.Y., Knoxville, Tenn., and El Paso, Texas -- was invited to make a presentation to the ABC to host the 2011 men's bowling tournament.
