LXE and McHugh Software Announce the Certification of LXE's MX1 Wireless Hand-held and PowerHouse Series 1380 Vehicle Mount Computers for the LXE 6200(900MHz) Network.

LXE Inc. announces that McHugh Software International, Inc. has re-certified its 6200 family of wireless networking infrastructure products for 900MHz radio frequency (RF) environments, to include LXE's new MX1 wireless handheld and LXE(r) PowerHouse Series [TM] 1380 Vehicle Mount Computers. McHugh's RF certification program performed systems reliability testing and performance verification of LXE's 6200 network products prior to introducing them to the field as a complement to its Logistics Suite(r).

McHugh's functional and performance stress testing has certified that LXE's 6200 family of network products--which includes network controllers and RFUs (Radio Frequency Units)--will perform reliably in a wide range of warehouse environments and will seamlessly integrate with McHugh's Logistics Suite, Warehouse Management. The first, and currently the only, program of its kind, McHugh's certification program helps to ensure minimal up-front network, RF, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integration issues.

LXE's certified 6200 wireless networking infrastructure for 900 MHz environments, which includes the new MX1 hand-held and 1380 vehicle-mount computers, provides exceptional coverage, easily linking to virtually any host computer, and operates on either Ethernet or Token Ring topologies. LXE's systems interface with 3270, 5250, ANSI, and Windows-based software.
