Excite@Home has teamed up with VideoShare Inc to expand its video broadband applications with a new video message service called My Videos.
Powered by VideoShare's technology, the new service is available via the Excite Bluemountain.com web site (http://www.bluemountain.com) or from a link in Excite Inbox (http://inbox.excite.com) and enables users to create personal video e-mails or video greeting cards.
To utilise the service users can download a free program called Video Producer, which will allow them to import video from a webcam, camcorder or digital files and store it in an online folder kept in a personalised My Videos page. The imported video can then be sent over the Internet as a video card.
A variety of stock video cards are also available for users who do not have the ability to create their own video.
