Mobidia Technology Appoints Gary Tauss President and CEO.

Telecom Industry Veteran Tauss to Lead Expansion of Company and Drive Product Rollout

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Mobidia Technology, Inc. (www.mobidia.com), a provider of end-to-end service performance management software that allows wireless operators to control the quality and prioritize

the delivery of mobile content, announced today that Gary Tauss has joined the company as president and CEO. Tauss' top priorities are expanding Mobidia's staff and driving product rollout as the company prepares for trials with global Tier One wireless operators.

"It's a privilege to join a company that's a first-mover in the industry of adaptive mobile technology. As mobile devices become much more complex, there's a widening disconnect between mobile content and services. Mobidia is working to solve a major problem for wireless operators by helping them control and maximize network efficiencies so they can provide the right level of service to every application," said Tauss. "I look forward to leading Mobidia's growth and success. I believe the company will help drive the future of mobile content and allow operators to meet users' service expectations."

"Gary's broad management experience at both established and startup companies and his knowledge of the network operator environment make him a great match for Mobidia," said Greg Smith, Director, Technology Seed Investments for BDC Venture Capital, a board member at Mobidia. "Gary's strong track record in the industry and his understanding of the challenges wireless operators face today will be instrumental in growing Mobidia and in further developing its product and its customer base."

Tauss brings to Mobidia more than twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having held executive positions with industry leaders, including TollBridge, Ramp Networks, GTE Spacenet Corporation, and BBN Communications Corporation.

Most recently, Tauss was the president and CEO of InfiniRoute Networks, a provider of managed VoIP peering services for wireline and wireless carriers, which was acquired by TNS. Prior to joining InfiniRoute, Tauss was CEO for LongBoard, Inc., a SIP-based, multi-media roaming provider for carriers. Tauss has also served as president and CEO of TollBridge Technologies, which developed voice over broadband systems for cable and DSL networks, and vice president and general manager of Ramp Networks, a small-office router manufacturer that was acquired by Nokia. Tauss holds a BS and MBA from the University of Illinois.
