The Association of Independently Owned Financial Planners (AIOFP) has embarked on a plan to source and co-develop financial planning software from China for distribution to its members and, potentially, to a broader market within Australia.
A committee of three AIOFP members has been established to test member support levels for the commercial viability of entering a joint venture with Shanghai-based software manufacturer iSoftstone (iSS), as well as with an unnamed major financial services institution in Australia.
