TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 4, 1995--In an aggressive move to advance the market for voice recognition technology, IBM today announced new distribution and development relationships with Kolvox Communications Inc., a leading speech product distributor and application developer. Together, the

Kolvox will distribute the entire family of IBM VoiceType(a) products via its worldwide network of 300 resellers and, in addition, will port its two most popular voice-enabled applications, OfficeTALK(b) and LawTALK(b), to IBM's award-winning VoiceType Dictation for OS/2 Warp(a) and Windows(b). The two companies will also pursue a variety of other opportunities including the development of speech recognition interface technology that will promote increased ease of use for IBM's speech recognition products.
