This powerful stand-alone interactive application is an affordable way to convert your IGES, VDA-FS (automotive profile), STL ASCII (prototyping), DXF R14, and STEP AP 214 files from the most popular CAD/CAM systems. TGS will be demonstrating 3Space Converter at SD '99 in Station no. 22 of the Microsoft Partner Pavillion (Booth 1114).

3Space Converter comes with 3Space Assistant v3.0, a professional 3D viewer based on OpenGL(R) rendering with integrated interactive 3D manipulation features. 3Space Assistant includes a rich set of geometric operations for viewing, manipulating and editing 3D objects (materials, colors, and lights...). It also includes a Large-Model Visualization capability, multiple transparency modes and over a dozen stereo viewing features.

The viewer is implemented as both an OLE Server and an Active Document (DocObject) Server, allowing3D models to be displayed in Microsoft Office(TM) applications or or directly in Internet Explorer. The 3Space Assistant viewer also provides EPS, HPGL and CGM vector output data formats for resolution independent hardcopy. Users can publish models on the Web using VRML or output to the Open Inventor(TM) toolkit (compact NURBS) file format. -0-
