Expands to Include Two New Members--
MultiGen-Paradigm Inc.'s realtime 3D modeling and simulation tools MultiGen Creator(TM) and Vega(TM) received a 1999 Show Stopper Award from CADENCE magazine
Separately, MultiGen-Paradigm announces the addition of two new members to the Urban Simulation Affiliates Program, Atlandia Design and Echtzeit.
The CADENCE Show Stopper awards are presented annually to hardware and software developers whose products exhibit best-of-class quality and have moved A/E/C industries forward. MultiGen Creator and Vega received one of ten CADENCE Show Stopper awards given at the conference for their ability to accurately create realtime 3D models of urban and architectural scenes and present 3D worlds on standard PC workstations.
MultiGen Creator is a 3D modeling and assembly system designed for realtime urban simulation, visual simulation and game development. Vega is the industry-leading software for creating interactive presentations or fly-throughs of Creator-based models. Vega allows users to view models from any eyepoint and add visual enhancements such as clouds, fog and moving vehicles to scenes.
"We are very excited and honored to receive this award and are proud of MultiGen-Paradigm's growing presence in the urban simulation market," said Jon Zucker, urban simulation product marketing manager, MultiGen-Paradigm. "This award is a credit to the entire MultiGen-Paradigm engineering team who have created two dynamic products that meet and exceed customer needs."
"MultiGen Creator and Vega have won a CADENCE Show Stopper because of their ability to create and allow users to easily navigate virtual environments that accurately represent real-world locations," said Arnie Williams, editor in chief, CADENCE magazine. "Impressive features include the speed with which the Vega simulations run on low-end hardware, the ease-of-use of both products, and realtime viewing during modeling."
CADENCE magazine presents Show Stopper awards at various trade shows and conferences throughout the year. MultiGen-Paradigm was selected as an award-winner from approximately 400 companies exhibiting at the A/E/C Systems conference.
Established in 1986, CADENCE is the world's largest independent CAD magazine with 101,083 qualified subscribers(1). CADENCE's qualified subscribers include engineers, CAD managers and corporate executives in industries such as AEC, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, civil engineering and GIS.
