Pioneering Directory Assistance/Call Routing Solution
Capable of Automating Caller Inquiries for Databases
of Tens of Millions of Records
Mindmaker, Inc., a
Tisento, a product of Mindmaker subsidiary Tisento Technologies, Ltd. (formerly FlexSpeech, Ltd.), is a scalable, flexible and robust solution capable of routing incoming calls, directory information requests, flight/rail information requests and more, for large-scale systems of 100,000 to 55 million records.
Tisento, which previously was available in British English and Italian, significantly reduces the cost of complex call routing and information systems. Its unique three-tiered architecture (client, router, and server) provides exceptional load balancing for times of heavy caller traffic. Tisento's powerful record matching technology, deployable on a single desktop PC or Microsoft Windows NT(R) system, is capable of handling virtually any kind of database matching application including banking, catalog ordering, sports scores, surveys, and theater/ticket information, among others.
"Tisento, via its new U.S. English version, now opens the American market to the most powerful and accurate telephone-based speech recognition technology available anywhere," said Russell Collingham, Managing Director of Tisento Technologies, Ltd. "Not only does Tisento replace the 'press 1, press 2' litany that greets customers and other users of most automated call routing solutions, but it also greatly reduces service costs by limiting the need for human attendants."
As the only speech recognition application on the market capable of matching complex data sets, Tisento typically meets enterprise needs via one of its two major versions:
-- Tisento Directory provides accurate name and address recognition and database retrieval of, for example, telephone numbers or account information in real time for directory inquiries, banking, or similar customer service applications. -- Tisento Attendant provides call routing, voicemail and call screening within an enterprise. It provides accurate name recognition and database retrieval of telephone numbers in real- time. Instead of having to remember or look up extension numbers, users simply dial and speak the desired person's name; the call is then routed to the corresponding number.
In addition to Tisento Directory and Tisento Attendant, two other solutions are available. The Tisento SDK Plugin Recognizer enables developers to integrate telephony speech recognition into third-party applications. In addition, Tisento offers customized hardware/software solutions that can be tailored to specific and/or advanced enterprise needs.
Tisento, which supports Windows NT, Linux, or Solaris platforms, is completely speaker and gender independent. The technology can be accessed via both land mobile phones, and features a customizable speech grammar and vocabulary including names, addresses, numbers, currencies, dates, and more. Tisento has been successfully deployed in commercial phone company directory assistance networks of more than one million residential/one million business records.
