SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2002

LumenVox announced their new Speech Recognition Engine (SRE) v3.0 for Linux, continuing their multi-platform support of advanced speech recognition technology.

SRE Version 3.0 offers dramatically improved performance, as well as specially designed single-digit performance enhancements, significantly improving recognition accuracy. In addition to acoustic improvements, the SRE offers developers the ability to custom-design their own grammars containing 2000+ words or phrases, filter out-of-vocabulary words, and modify the engine and grammar performance at run-time. Built-in grammars handle single digits, currency, and natural numbers. In addition, the SRE automatically produces pronunciations for any word not in the 120,000-word dictionary.

LumenVox will demonstrate their new suite of software at COMDEX Fall 2002, being held in Las Vegas, in booth 7527 from November 18th to the 22nd.
