Avnet Inc. (NYSE:AVT) announced today that it will webcast the company's Annual Meeting of Shareholders at www.ir.avnet.com. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, at 4 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Central, 2 p.m.
Shareholders of the company as of the Sept. 9, 2002 Record Date are welcome to attend the meeting in person. The meeting will be held at the Phoenix Airport Marriott, 1101 N. 44th St., Phoenix, AZ.
